
Taking the lead from its strategic partner, France Telecom, a comprehensive programme entitled act has been put in place to enable the human side of the Jordan Telecom Group to transform at all levels of the business. act stands for “anticipation and competencies for the transformation” – and comes as the foundation from which to build true and dynamic human resources and resourcing policies.
act, as a strategic HR change management program has 5 objectives:
give life to the integrated operator concept by changing the way we do HR, and by integrating our policies, tools and systems
provide visibility of the job opportunities in each business unit, corporate or shared service
enable employees to build their personal development plan
reinforce the management’s involvement in the change process and the realization of the transformation
enable employees to use their professional competencies at best and achieve their personal development plan through adapted HR solutions.
act contains 3 main work streams, they are:

A critical foundation of our work is to define how we will work together as one Group. All projects within this work stream aim to define expectations and harmonize existing Human Resources policies and structure.
act for Progress
The core of act is to invest in developing our human resource capability by creating the needed tools to help Jordan Telecom Group employees develop their skills and competencies for managing challenges through training, coaching, mobility and managing their performance.
act for Keeping in Touch
We are looking forward to sharing HR informaion with Jordan Telecom Group employees by creating a new HR Help Desk to answer staff inquiries concerning HR issues. This will give staff the opportunity to keep close contact with HR
